Another Gold award winning sausage! This is new to our range in 2013 & was made to replace our old “Cracked Black Pepper” sausage which our customers told us could perhaps be even more peppery. Our take on a Cumberland sausage is mixed with a coarser minced shoulder of pork with natural herbs, black & white pepper & ground spices. 

 Although Cumberland is traditionally drier in texture with very high meat content & subtle flavours, our version uses our traditional meat recipe and has more ingredients for a distinctive and strong flavour but like our other sausages, still retains its succulent texture. As with all of our sausages we use high quality ingredients, and source the finest cuts of Red Tractor Pork shoulder.

For best results cook from chilled. Remove all packaging

  • To Grill - Place under a preheated medium to hot grill for 14-16mins, turning regularly
  • To Shallow Fry - Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Gently fry on a medium heat for 14-16 minutes,turning frequently
  • To Oven Bake - Place on a baking tray and cook in the centre of a pre-heated oven at 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5 for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through cooking

After cooking - Ensure the sausages are piping hot and no pink colour remains - not suitable for microwaving
