Made with British shoulder of pork & Fresh Bramley Apples

Pork & apples go perfectly together, especially when you combine our traditional meat recipe and an ample helping of apple chunks which you can really taste throughout the sausage. We then add a small amount of locally produced honey to offset the sharpness of the apples with a mild sweetness, and finally we add a ground spice blend to finish off the distinctive flavour.   

Our Pork and Apple

Sausages are made using Bramley apples. Whenever possible these are  Welsh Bramley apples grown in an orchard in the Brecon Beacons. Nestled on the North Slope of Sugar Loaf Mountain, the orchard produces various apple varieties but Bramleys’ were chosen for their sharpness which mellows when cooked, giving them a sweet, melt-in-the-mouth taste. Click here to read more about the orchard, run by farmer Stephen Helme.

As with all of our sausages we only use high quality ingredients, and source the finest cuts of Red Tractor Pork shoulder.

For best results cook from chilled. Remove all packaging

  • To Grill - Place under a preheated medium to hot grill for 14-16mins, turning regularly
  • To Shallow Fry - Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Gently fry on a medium heat for 14-16 minutes,turning frequently
  • To Oven Bake - Place on a baking tray and cook in the centre of a pre-heated oven at 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5 for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through cooking

After cooking - Ensure the sausages are piping hot and no pink colour remains - not suitable for microwaving
